Who are we?

Mancomunidad Pla de Mallorca

Mancomunitat Pla de Mallorca: Union and tradition

The Mancomunitat Pla de Mallorca consists of fourteen municipalities at the heart of Mallorca: Algaida, Ariany, Costitx, Lloret de Vistalegre, Llubí, Maria de la Salut, Montuïri, Petra, Porreres, Sant Joan, Santa Eugènia, Sencelles, Sineu, and Vilafranca de Bonany. These towns, with a strong agricultural heritage, keep alive the traditions and culture of Mallorca, from folklore to gastronomy and through a rich cultural and landscape offering.

Our goal is clear: to provide essential services jointly, such as waste management, social services, adult education, and economic promotion including tourism. This ensures that despite their small size, our municipalities enjoy the same facilities as the rest of the island.

Regarding tourism, we are committed to sustainable development, supported since 2022 by the Tourism Sustainability Plan funded by the Next Generation EU Funds. This approach not only improves local quality of life but also offers visitors a genuine Mallorcan experience.
