Religious patrimony: A journey through it can start at the mystical Route of Algaida, or at the Antigua Parroquia de Castellitx, also known as the Mare de Déu de la Pau, located between Algaida and Puig de Randa. Other must-see places include the Santuario de Gràcia in Llucmajor, the Hermitage of Sant Honorat, the Sanctuary of Nostra Senyora de Cura, Ramon Llull’s place of retreat, as well as the sanctuaries of Monti-sion, Consolació and Mare de Déu de Bonany. And don’t forget to visit the birthplace and museum of Fra Juníper Serra.
Local festivities: The festivals are key moments to experience the local culture. The festivities of San Bartolomé in Montuïri on the 24th of August and Sant Honorat on the 16th of January in Algaida stand out.
